OUR GOAL IS TO PROVIDE INDIVIDUALIZED, AFFORDABLE CONSULTATION TO FAMILIES OF CHILDREN WITH AUTISM.

Are you frustrated with consultation fees totaling hundreds of dollars? With cookie-cutter picture sets that don't quite fit your child's communication book or your picture needs? With books that talk about managing the communication and behaviors of children with autism, but that don't help with your specific problem?

We are two professionals who have over 40 years combined experience in the field of education, including 20 years of experience working with children with autism. Sandy Lewis is a preschool special needs teacher who runs a classroom primarily geared to children with autism, and Jayne Cutright is the speech language pathologist for Sandy's students as well as for the older students with autism in the school. In 2004, Sandy shared the honor of receiving the Carol Gray Award, awarded by Future Horizons to special education teachers who have made an outstanding contribution to the life of a child with autism or Asperger's Syndrome. Sandy was chosen for this national award based on letters submitted by the parents of her students.

Jayne Cutright is a speech language pathologist who specializes in autism. Along with Sandy, she has completed 12 hours of graduate level courses offered by the Autism Training Center of Marshall University, Huntington, WV. Both Sandy and Jayne have been formally trained in the PECS system and Positive Behavior Support, and have completed TEACCH training in Chapel Hill, NC. In addition, Jayne works as a part-time supervisor in the West Virginia University Speech Clinic.
